Renewable energy interventions by the Diya foundation have allowed small-scale entrepreneurs to come up in remote parts of the state. Earlier this was not possible nor feasible due to constant power cuts but now with solar-powered machines, it has become much easier and more efficient to set up small enterprises. Through this Diya Foundation has been able to reach around 30+ villages, and 100+ entrepreneurs and build sustainable enterprises in the field of Tailoring, eri spinning, Irrigation, egg incubators, rice huller, eatery, petty shops, digital services, spice grinding units, etc.
