Who We Are
About Us
Diya Foundation is a Not for Profit Organization (NPO) established in 2011 under the societies act 1860, in Meghalaya. Our focus is to create and empower self-sustainable societies by building capacities within underprivileged communities, through interventions in areas such as Livelihood, health, and education. This we believe can be
achieved through holistic and inclusive development by creating room for participation, skill development, and sustainable institution building. Our work also covers a broad
spectrum of thematic areas to reach the Sustainable development goals (SDGs)
effectively; zero hunger, end poverty, good health, and well-being, promoting gender equality, access to clean water and sanitation, renewable energy, decent work and economic growth, industry innovation and infrastructure, reduced inequalities, sustainable land use and peace promotion.
